To celebrate a stellar 2006 Freefall Records proudly presents 2 big nights of Christmas breaks in Byron Bay and Brisbane.
Freefall has a long history of big events in Brisbane & Byron featuring a series of successful events such as the Freestylers @ BBQ Breaks; Roots Manuva; Blackalicious; QBert & Supernatural; Grandmaster Flash and most recently pulling together the monumental Rock the Vote festival on behalf of Aussie Rock Icon Peter Garrett. This year Freefall wants to wish all our loyal fans a very merry Christmas with two big servings of breakbeat sorely missed from these areas for far too long. Thursday December 21st Freefall founders SOMA RASA join Finger Lickin disco breaks superstars SLYDE at the Great Northern Backroom in Byron Bay. On Saturday December 23rd big-time local breaks acts TESCHNIK and BITROK test their wares against SLYDE downstairs at the Shamrock Hotel in the Valley. Rockin breakbeat through to the very early hours of Christmas Eve.
Tickets to both gigs are only available on the door so be sure to get there early each night.

 ROCK THE VOTE takes over Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds on Saturday 18 November. For 11 hours punters will be treated to a host of Australia’s best bands and comedians while also being offered some essential information about new laws that affect their lives and futures in this country.
Supported by a host of Australia’s top artists, ROCK THE VOTE will encourage punters to add their name to the electoral role. The Your Rights At Work folks will also be on-site to give interested parties the full run down on how the new industrial relations laws relate to them. All this will be available to check out between sets of the following illustrious list of Australian artists.

They just don’t come any bigger than this; revered worldwide as the man responsible for inventing Hip Hop, his first name says it all. ‘The’ turntable legend, the first DJ to play the turntables as a musical instrument: Grandmaster Flash will be honoring Brisbane with his presence this coming Friday June 2nd @ the Arena.
The Grandmaster will be joined at the Arena by an all star cast of Brisbane’s quintessential Hip Hop tastemakers, namely: The Hazard Brothers teaming up with Sampology (all just returned from LA), DJ Rainman, The Resin Dogs MC DNO and expanding upon their impromptu battle at the elements show The Groove Gremlins will face off against The Fre Agentz for some world class break dance battling.
